"Giiiiiiiii...." Amon looked around in wonder as he walked beside his trainer. To the young pokemon's eyes, everything in here seemed like an entirely new and magical sight to behold. Flashing lights, the smell of various delicious foods, the feel of the late afternoon air on his scales, and the general aura of the place put a sharp smile on the pokemon's face. The joyful cacophony of voices of adults and children, of men and women, of people and pokemon bombarded the ears and gave the Gible a sense of wonder, amazement, and belonging.
In contrast, Salazar seemed distinctly uncomfortable being in such a crowded area. An eyebrow could be seen ticking as the presence of so many people and pokemon bothered him. He despised crowds; it made him feel like some sort of docile cattle or like a swarm of ants following the orders of some unseen and unheard figure head. Just the thought of that made him feel really, really annoyed. He really wanted to get out of here now!
Suddenly, Amon tugged at his pants. "Gible!" He pointed at a sign that said PIPLUP's PICK in giant blue bold letters. There were surprisingly no people around it right now, so Salazar decided to go there to get a breather from the swarm of life.
"Let's look." The duo quickly maneuvered out of the crowds and to the booth. Once he was there, he looked around and saw a person working in the booth. Upon seeing him, Salazar decided what this was all about.
"Excuse me, but how does this work?" The attendant looked at him and grinned.
"It's simple, kid. Just pick either the Piplup, the Prinplup, or the Empoleon after they shuffle the tickets around them with Double Team. You'll get the ticket of whatever they're holding, which may be gold, silver, or bronze. These have corresponding prizes, of course." He explained as he gave tickets to each of the mentioned pokemon. Once he was done, he turned to Salazar. "Care to have a go?"
"Sure, why not?" With that, the three pokemon actually blurred out of his vision, being too fast for his eyes to keep up with. Apparently, even his pokemon got dizzy from just looking at this. Once he was done, Salazar recovered his bearings and picked one.
"The Empoleon I guess...."
